FAQ
Common questions about Bisonary's Product Intelligence for SaaS teams.
Product status and access
Is the product live?
We are in closed beta. Some reports are semi-automated to ensure quality.
How do I get access?
Join the early access list from the main landing page. We'll invite cohorts as capacity grows.
Setup and data sources
What do I need to start?
A project URL or keywords. No tool integrations are required. We'll discover competitors for you automatically and you can edit the list as needed.
What sources do you track?
Public web pages such as home, pricing, changelog/release notes, and docs. We add discovery passes monthly.
Do you monitor social, ads, or reviews?
Not in the MVP. These deeper sources are planned for later phases.
Monitoring and alerts
How often do you scan?
Initial on-demand scan, then scheduled refresh (weekly/daily). Dependends on your plan and manual settings.
What counts as a "high-impact" alert?
Material price changes, major feature launches/removals, or clear messaging repositioning.
Where do I receive alerts?
Email digest by default, optional Slack for high-impact events.
Reporting and sharing
What outputs can I export?
One-click battlecards and executive briefs to Notion/PDF, plus side-by-side comparisons.
Are claims traceable to sources?
Yes. Reports link back to source snapshots for verification.
Can I customize report sections?
Yes. You can toggle sections and reorder content at export time (MVP scope is light).
Discovery and landscape
How does competitor discovery work?
We run a discovery pass using your domain/keywords to propose candidates with a short rationale. You approve or reject entries.
How often is discovery updated?
Depends on your plan and manual settings. Typically daily/weekly.
Feature Impact Scoring v0.1
What is it?
A lightweight, explainable ranking of potential "gap features" to guide roadmap discussions.
What factors are used?
Competitive leverage, user value signal, and strategic fit (simple weights). Effort estimates can be added manually.
Is it fully automated?
No. A human review step is required before publishing scored recommendations.
Security and compliance
Do you respect robots.txt and rate limits?
Yes. Crawling honors robots.txt and domain rate-limits.
Do you store competitor content?
We store snapshots (HTML/text/screens) for traceability within your workspace.
Is my data isolated?
Projects are scoped to your organization. We apply org-level access controls.
Pricing and plans
What will pricing look like?
Transparent, mid-market-friendly plans at GA. Beta is free for early access users.
Do you charge per user?
We aim to avoid per-seat limits in favor of team usage.
Roadmap and support
What's next after MVP?
Deeper sources (reviews, ads, news), advanced scoring and scenarios, and more integrations.
How do I contact support?
By email or X. We're still in beta, so we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Still have questions?
Join early access and get direct support from the team during beta.
